Labe Dam Spindleruv mlyn

Krkonose – Spindleruv Mlyn Labska reservoir

Labska dam is the first valley from the source reservoir to the Labe River, is situated at an altitude of 694 meters, and is an impressive water works at the entrance of Spindleruv Mlyn.

Like reservoir Les Kralovstvi / Tesnov dam was being built because of the catastrophic floods in 1897 that caused massive damage throughout the valley of the Labe. Since then securely protects the perennial rains, sudden melting of snow and regulates the flow of the river Labe.

Masonry arch dam is 154 meters long and 41 meters high. It is also interesting because,
